[FFE 영어] Take과 Bring 차이점

 

Take

[의미]

- take (away)  → 현재 위치로부터 멀어지는 / 전치사 away

- movement away from something 

- remove it from where it is and put it over there.

[예제]

(o) take the box there. 

(o) take the box over there

(o) take the box to the office.

(x) take the box over here.→ ★ 현재 위치로부터 멀어지는 개념.  here 등과 함께 사용 안됨!

I will take him to the office. 

나는 그를 그 사무실로 데리고 갈 것입니다.

I will take the box to the office. 

나는 그 박스를 그 사무실로 가지고 갈 것입니다.

I can take you (to) there. 

= I will drop you there. 

내가 당신을 거기에 데려갈게

 

 Bring

[의미]

- bring (to) → 현재 위치와 상관없이 이곳에서 저곳으로 옮겨지는/전치사 to.

- indicates movement towards something 

- put it over another place.

[예제]

(o) bring the box there.→ ★ Take과 달리 모두 가능.

(o) bring the box here. → ★ Take과 달리 모두 가능.

(o) bring the box over there.

(o) bring the box over here.

(o) bring the box to the office.
