과태료의 종류

[과태료]

벌금이나 과료(科料)와 달리 형벌의 성질을 가지지 않는 법령위반에 대하여 과해지는 금전벌(金錢罰)을 의미.

[과태료의 종류]

- 주차위반 과태료 : illegal parking fine

- 버스전용차로위반과태료 : Bus lane violation fine

- 의무이행지연 과태료 : Delay Penalty

- 납부연체 과태료 : Overdue Penalty

- 불법주차증 (일명, 주차딱지) : illegal parking ticket

- 속도위반 딱지 : Speeding Ticket

 if you still haven't paid the penalty after 30 days, an additional charges will be added.

■ 30일 이후에도 과태료를 납부하지 않으면, 관계 행정기관에 보고되어, 관련 조치가 취해질 것이며, 최코 100만운의 벌금이 부과 될 것입니다.

if you still haven't paid the penalty after 30 days, you will be reported to competent administrative authority who will initiate the appropriate proceedings. This may results in a fine of up to KWN 1,000,000.

■ 위반딱지가 2건 있습니다.

You got 2 tickets. 

■ 3년 동안 12점 이상의 벌점을 얻게된다면 운전면허가 중지될 것입니다. 

You could be disqualified from driving if you build up 12 or more penalty points within a period of 3 years.

■ 당신의 운전면허증은 취소될 것입니다.

Your driving licence will be revoked (또는 withdrawn)

■ 주차위반 과태료 1건과 속도위반 과태료 1건이 있습니다.

There are 1 parking ticket and 1 speeding ticket.

■ 주차위반 과태료를 해결하기 위해선 교통지도과에 연락하여 금액을 확인합니다. 그리고 가까운 은행으로 가서 납부합니다.

In order to clear your parking ticket, first of all you need to contact Traffic Guidance Division and check out how much you should pay. And then go to the nearest local bank to pay yours.

■ 은행에서 발급된 과태료 납부확인증은 어디 있나요?

Where is the receipt of your tickets which was issued by a bank.

■ 이 규정을 위반한 개인은 법과 규정에 따른 행정적, 벌칙적 처벌을 받을 수 있습니다. 

Personnel who violate this regulation may be subject to action under the law and/or adverse punitive or administrative actions authorized by law and regulation. 

■ 차량의 임시번호판은 발급받은후 임시운행허가기간 경과일로부터 5일 이내에 허가관청에 반납하여야 한다.  이를 반납하지 않을 경우, Delay Penalty를 부과한다. 

Temporary plates must be surrendered within 5 days from the expiration date. If the expiration date is exceeded, a delay penalty may be imposed on you as follows :

For the first 10 days from the expiration date, the fine not exceeding 5,000 WON may be imposed.

For any time exceeding the first 10 days, the fine will getting higher by 10,000 WON for each day up to 1,000,000 WON.
